If this is all one big troll, I will give Kiffin credit. However, that really seems implausible. You're sending your family to Baton Rouge for a day shopping for houses and schools - for what? A joke? I know he is the master troll, but this seems very implausible.

This kind of makes Ole Miss look stupid tbh. Their coach always looks like he’s trying to bail. It’s bad for recruiting. That makes no sense.

With the SEC going to a 9 game conference schedule, I think he sees the writing on the wall that it will be very difficult for OM to be a contender every year.
This year the pretty much had what, 3 difficult games? LSU, Oklahoma, and UGA.
Next year they have UGA, LSU, OU, Texas, and odds are one of Auburn/Fla hire a competent coach to be better than this year.
Probably looking at a 9-3 ceiling going forward after this year
