They should be in the same fishing hole for their next candidate. Auburn is the “better job” on paper considering they’ve been to multiple national championship games in the 2000s, but that program just seems like a mess. Ole Miss comes with less booster pressure and has leveled up their finances, obviously.

If I’m Sumrall or another candidate that is likely in play for both of these, I’m taking Ole Miss

Auburn hasn't won more than 6 games in a season since 2019.

You (we) should really, REALLY wait until everything’s final before playing this game

I want to believe. But I also know that things can change quick….. remember, we are basing all of these emotions and predictions off of information that NOBODY worth a shite has verified as true…. It’s a dangerous game

Ole miss as of now.

Kiffin has it set up nicely for whoever is next.

I bet they get a pretty good coach if they do a search.

Maybe, but now if you’re Auburn you have to operate like you’re on the clock and you’ve been knocked down another leg in the pecking order.

Ole Miss. When is the last time Auburn even won 10 games? Close to a decade

Auburn is the better job, and it really isn't close. Yes, lately they have sucked, but they have more resources than Ole Miss. And if you are a young, up-and-coming coach, the bar is significantly lower at Auburn, whereas you would be following Lane at Ole Miss.

Auburn has more tradition, has more fans, and is frankly a better school in every way.

Traditionally this is no question, but ole Miss has leveled up their spending and resources, and most importantly to me, Auburn seems like a total mess with their money guys. Having to answer to multiple people who bicker with each other and can’t come to a consensus would almost be a nonstarter for me if I had options.

I think it’s still probably Auburn, but I thinks it’s a lot closer than it should be
