Looking at getting one because I love the fact that it can look like a picture frame and you can add the different bevels to give it a different look. Also in theory like the one connect box being separate so nothing is visible.

Not really concerned about picture quality because that will be good enough. But reading online and I'm seeing complaints about the one connect box and that the TV and the box will disconnect frequently. But you never see the good reviews online just people that come on to complain.

I'm fine buying a $2500 TV I just don't want to buy a $2500 TV and it suck.

Anybody have a Frame Pro? In particular the 2025. Thoughts? Issues?

I went with a different Samsung - They still have the picture frame features...and at the time the picture on the Neo Q was much better than The Frame models.

That was nearly 4 years ago, so not sure if they are still that different, or if Samsung has improved the frame models.

Didn't realize they had other TVs you could use the frame/bevels with. I guess the difference is they are just not as thin so don't have quite the "picture frame" look?

this is a game changer

once you've used this you will wonder why everyone doesnt do it.

no more pulling the tv off the wall and trying to run and route cables....EVER.

clean, simple, thin line about the thickness of a coffee stirrer.

hidden in a bureau or cabinet somewhere else in the room. hook up hdmis to it, optical speakers, usb drives with photos or whatnot, Ethernet...its absolutely CIVILIZED tv source management.

i'm not sure they have the 'art' software running by default either.

it does more than just stick a photo up there; it balances the tone, brightness, creates a 'matte' finish so you truly feel like you're staring at a piece of art on the wall. its VERY well done and even if you can stick a magnetic bezel on a different model, its not a frame tv.

also the mount is ingenius on the frame tv, literally FLUSH against the wall thanks for that filament TV cable management system.

hisense, tcl, etc are doing 'frame' tvs but read the fine print..its just a shitty knock off app of what samsung perfected here and there's **NO** single cable system.

without that, you cant mount a tcl or hisense flush or do any of the cool Frame stuff..its just a tv with a bunch of caveman inputs and shite on the back that you are constantly trying to reach to add & remove shite.

frame or nothing if you want a frame.

if not, just get a regular tv.

I'd rather a one way mirror framed over my TV. Cept I haven't seen how badly it affects the picture quality.

Yea I mean that is a huge bonus. I have tube from my mantle to my cabinets so I can run wires and they not be visible but this is too cool.

Does yours drop on you or cut out often? Looking online that seems to be the complaints. And my buddy who installs A/V said it's been a problem.

Do you still use a roku/fire stick/etc or just use the Samsung remote? Saw online people said there was some delay or not as responsive using the Samsung direct instead of a Roku. Like it wasn't as good for navigating the streaming services and apps cut out on them.

TIA

Yea I went up to Best Buy this weekend because I wanted to see them in person. I'm sure the TCl and Hisene are fine butyou can just tell even in the store that there really is no comparison. And the others having the TV guts all in one they don't getto sit as flat against the wall and truly look like a frame like the Samsung does now that it has the wireless box.

I'd definitely have to get the wireless picture frame speakers too.

You know, because..

I should point out I have the frame and not frame pro.

I don't know about the wireless box but I have myline hard wired to Ethernet and I push 100GB remux 4K movies through Plex without any issues and lots of IPTV.

The Samsung ux can get slow sometimes but once I'm launched into an app I don't see any problems.

I don't really understand how the wireless box works..I need to read up on it. Mine has that one long filament cable that handles power and all the inputs, etc.

Making the one connect box wireless was a yuge mistake. I wouldn’t buy a pro, 65” or smaller if you want a frame.

Mine is a regular Frame. It has a tiny wire to connect to the box. It has been reliable and truly a centerpiece of my living room. I have had it two and a half years and I love it.

My advice is unless you absolutely need the wireless box, go with the reliable wired connection and get the regular frame.

Either way, you will love the Frame TV. It is absolutely worth the money.

Also you don’t need a Roku or any other streaming device. The Samsung interface is very easy to use. The remote is solar powered or you can charge it so you don’t have to deal with batteries. I think I may have charged mine 2-3 times total in the almost three years I’ve had it.

this is a truisum for EVERYTHING connected in your house IMO

eta this was my frame at my old house; cheesy video i know but i had just installed the wifi shades i bought from ikea and was playing with them.

the beam speaker underneath has a tiny hole in the trim that i drilled to run the cables and both the frame Connect box and wiring is inside those drawers underneath connected to power & ethernet via plug hidden inside.

that was a fun house..just too far way from my kids' schools

oh and before i forget; most museums have website with free downloadable art from their collections; just look around.

you can download it to a usb stick and plug that into the One Connect box for all the free art you can eat instead of paying outrageous (imo) subscription for samsung to turn on their curated art.

that includes photos of your kids or anyting else you want to use. When you 'install' an art piece, samsung mutes the colors and create a matte effect so it looks like art..very cool. can't explain it but when you try it you'll see.

just make sure its sized correctly for your frame (i forget the dimensions) if you don't want blank space around it. just use a photo tool on your PC to crop it if its not or google 'samsung frame sized art' online.

also to IWY...you don't have to buy Samsung bezels. samsung is pricey but there are tons of generic on amazon and cool ones on Etsy as well; they're just 4 magnetic slats w/ 45 degree corners that you slap around your tv. shop around and find one that fits your asthetic; there's a zillion out there.

Yea after doing more of a deep dive I think I'll go with the regular and not the pro. Just too many complaints about the one connect box that scare me off.

Is there a lag or something? What's the issue with the wireless setup?
