On Nov. 15, at the direction of Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by a Designated Terrorist Organization. Intelligence confirmed that the vessel was involved in illicit narcotics smuggling, transiting along a known narco-trafficking route, and carrying narcotics. Three male narco-terrorists aboard the vessel were killed. The vessel was trafficking narcotics in the Eastern Pacific and was struck in international waters.

Does it not seem insane to anyone else that they're still out there hauling arse through the swells in these power boats?
Why do they continue? Or at the very least buy a "deep sea" fishing boat to not look as obvious.

Might be worth a deep sea fishing trip for outboards
Assuming the military don’t go back to collect once they sink

Is this the first intercept in the Pacific Ocean? Article doesn’t say Venezuela either and that would make since being that Venezuela has no pacific coastline. So where did this one originate from? Columbia or a Central American country?

80 years ago, due process was provided to some of the worst criminals in history.
That we now are engaging in extrajudical killings is an absolute embarrassment and is simply wrong. This is not how the supposed leader of the free world should act.

that's not what's happening here jethro, what's happening here are these people are operating an unflagged vessel in international waters as such under international maritime laws they have no rights, they're not even entitled to the rights they would ordinarily receive in their country of origin.
how could you be so stupid that you didn't know that?

We were in a declared war with Germany, which is why we were killing them.
No such state of war exists now.
These are extrajudical killings and are wrong.

no such thing according to international maritime law
An unflagged vessel in international waters, also known as a
stateless vessel, is a ship without a national identity, registered in no state. While this is generally illegal and can lead to difficulties with legal protections for the crew and crew safety, it can be subject to inspection and enforcement by any nation's navy on well-founded suspicion of illegal activity like piracy or slave trafficking
it's amazing here you are "retired" and you've been a phucking idiot your whole life.

With the continued operations you have to think we have so many coming through these smugglers still believe it possible to make it without getting targeted.
