And this is why they are at the top now!

This is what we need! We will pay you, but your arse better be prepared to earn it in spades.

that is the place LSU has to strive to get to. LSU appears to probably have half the team on that program and half doing something considerably less.
I sure hope our new coach has that mindset.

Nil needs to be based on production

To me, NIL is not main issue, it’s transfer portal.

I'm always impressed with the energy and quickness of their running backs. They have a sense of urgency and hit the hole like I haven't seen from LSU since probably Fournette/Guice.

He seems to have gotten to the core of many team’s issues. NIL needs to be performance based.

I agree, unfortunately it’s currently not legal to tie productivity to NIL payments; only timeline commitments that deter midseason opt outs

It may not be flashy, but I love their brand of football. Physical, wear you down, and then knock you out.

He is really, really good. What a recruiting pitch to a young man. “You just want a check or you want a check and get to physically dominate your opponents every Saturday.” Beautiful. Best in the business right now by a lot.

NIL is as performance based as any other free market. No one is trying to pay lazy/bad players, but what’s going to separate good coaches going forward is evaluating if a guy is worth the price tag.

BK is probably still the LSU HC if he looks harder at Nuss and says this guy ain’t worth the price of admission, and instead went and found someone who was.

To me it’s why Ohio State and Georgia are the best teams in football. They have the money to spend for the best like us and other programs have, but they seem to have the talent and mindset to dominate the sport.

ohio state spends more than anyone else. Their roster costs more than season LSU’s and we were “all in”. Ohio state is spending way more than everyone but texas
