By any objective measure, the current trajectory is simply unsustainable. At some point gravity is going to take over and it won’t be a soft landing for any of us.
Nothing changes until this nation returns to sound monetary policies. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

That pic of W.
But to your OP. Completely agree. I love how we're constantly told that Dems and Reps hate each other and don't agree on much at all. If that were true, and I wish it were, there is no fricking way that government would be this large and ubiquitous. It only happens because they agree on their love of Big Government.

If only there were more principled conservatives in Congress like Rand Paul and Thomas Massie instead of the big spending unipartyists that curve wouldn’t look so exponential.

NYC, the throne of the Western Financial System, just elected a foreign born communist jihadist as it’s Mayor.
This is not going to have a happy ending unless enough supporters of limited government come to the inescapable conclusion that some degree of political secession is the only peaceful way out of the deepening crisis.
Yet instead, we are stuck with “conservatives” who believe that anyone who rightly voices concern over our nation’s out of control debt is a commie.

There is a globalist ruling class that is extracting wealth from America before crashing us morally and fiscally so they can enact a totalitarian one world government because they view us as spare eaters.
That’s not my theory. It’s their words, told to us repeatedly on video and written in books over decades.
Everything else is downstream of that and with the possible exceptions of the 2016 and 2024 elections everything else has been performative.

look i feel you dog, i do but i've been hearing this schit for 40 years from both parties that our current spending is unsustainable but the truth is our debt to gdp ratio is reasonable compared to japan and china. if this is a problem it hasn't been a problem so far.
so here's what we're going to need to do, we're going to have to reintroduce the concept of paying income taxes to the sainted middle class! the sharpest knifes in the draw, the working man! the brains of the operation the people that make the country go! they aspired to be average and they made it, but they haven't paid income taxes in two decades
at one time they made up the largest group of tax paying americans, because they were the largest group, now they're welfare queens.
so the only way we are going to close our current 2 trillion annual deficit is by drastically cutting military spending and drastically increasing taxes on the middle class or we can continue to kick the can down the road understanding that our debt to gdp is reasonable and manageable and we can continue to allow the middle class to pay no income tax, i'm guessing we choose the latter.

It’s not really bipartisan.
The 2 parties assist each other, so they all get rich at our expense.
They put on a show in front of the cameras to keep us agitated.
Politicians have always been the lowest form of life. It’s no wonder lawyers are attracted to political careers.

While our nation’s debt ratio appears manageable compared to other nations, it masks the underlying economic weaknesses caused by inflation. Inflation means exactly what it says: it is an inflation of the money supply.
So while debt backed by authentic savings and revenue can contribute to stable economic growth, the artificial proliferation of money and credit that results from the print and lend monetary policies of the Federal Reserve necessarily creates economic instability. A loss of value in the currency and ballooning debt is simply the outward symptom of the artificial expansion of the money supply.
The principal threat to our nation’s economy thus does not stem from the high level of national debt in and of itself but rather from the artificial expansion of money and credit that lacks a foundation in authentic savings and earnings. In short, it is the inflationary nature of our nation’s monetary system, rather than the magnitude of the debt per se, that constitutes a significant risk to our nation’s continued economic wellbeing.
