Not prepared to take control of the game, no SEC championship, professional media troll bc he’s obsessed with his daughters TikTok and Instagram clout, gets fired at every job where he’s served money and talent on a silver platter. He just so happens to have a team at the University of Mississippi that’s not as bad as the rest of the down conference. Not a real serious program.
Give me Kelvin Sheppard or Joe Brady before we hire a coach losing/ struggling against Billy Gonzales
, a Billy Napier assistant/interim head coach and Les Miles passing game coordinator. Yikes
Real LSU fans who are used to winning want a disciplined, proven winner.
Swallow the jagged pill and hire an actual winner. Lane Sniffin is a great fit for the university of the land mass.

Not that I WANT them, but Sniffin sucks. There are better coaches. He’s perfect for Mississippi or Florida. Not championship material.

I agree with your take. Lane’s antics would get old quickly at LSU, esp after a few losses.

Sniffin gets killed in the playoffs bc he’s not good enough. His team is good enough. He’s not. Should never step foot in Baton Rouge. There are plenty better.

Doesn’t have to be a proven winning head coach. Just winning at the coordinator position. Lane hasn’t been handed any hardware. LSU doesn’t have trophy room bc they hire folks like Sniffin.

You're getting downvoted but I agree. Kiffin I'm absolutely not sold on his capability here.

Not exactly true with his tenure there. He's absolutely a better pick than BK no questions and if LSU can win NCs with Miles/Orgeron I see no reason why Kiffin couldn't.
I wouldn't be mad at the hire at all but I'm really worried at how much they're willing to pay him. I think pay sometimes directly motivates a coach's ability. Kiffin seems to value mental health quite a bit and we know BK was checked out lazy when he came here day 1. How do you measure a coach's want to push the boundaries when you reset the market for them?
Kiffin is going to get guaranteed money no matter what the govner says. Maybe he coasts on his money and doesn't really feel motivated to push hard enough to do much. Sit on your money if you will. Yes, coaches do it all the time as you saw with BK. This is the price you pay for a market reset each time you're looking for a coach.
Go grab someone who has LSU as their alma mater and is good coach. You know they'll stay motivated and then likely not leave for anything. That's what we're really missing at LSU. Part me actually wants us to miss on Kiffin and take a chance on someone young who has everything to prove. I don't know Kiffin's mentality and this kinda worries me with the money he will be getting.

yep, proven great coordinators like Dennis Alan Dave Aranda let’s see how about that offensive coordinator for the New England Patriots the Denver Broncos head coach all suck as head coaches. You don’t know what the frick you were talking about. Great coordinators do not always mean a good head coach.
