Society is going ape over an intelligence that is artificial. People go fishing with artificial lures.

How far are we away from Real Intelligence making Artificial Intelligence obsolete?

I dont see anything significant anytime soon. The AI bubble is going to burst before we see anything really groundbreaking.

Very few workers are being replaced at the moment.

The tech layoffs are over hiring and H1-B, not AI.

AI and robotics are advancing exponentially, making them more efficient than human labor. The result will be mass unemployment: most jobs held by women will vanish in two years, and 90% of all jobs could be gone in five. In this new economy, you have two choices: become wealthy, or live on a universal basic income that provides just enough to get by.

So you are saying women will stay home, make babies, clean house and cook meals? Men will have time for honey dos, hunting, fishing, and spending time with their many babies.

What a future.

Have AI take the place of public school teachers.

Just pay coaches the minimum to sit in the classrooms with paddles.

Current AI is really just advanced search analytics. There's nothing intelligent about it. You can give it a thousand feet of lumber but it can't build a house.

75% of people's lives would improve immediately if they would just get the frick off social media and stay off social media. Go hiking go camping the hunting go fishing go to the beach anything but put the fricking social media down. It's fricked up their heads.

If you are wealthy you will be able to do whatever you want to. If not, you are relagated to what the government funds can provide.

While AI can't physically build a house, it can manage the entire process—from design and engineering to permits and hiring—after which robots can execute the construction.

Uh, I don't see what's so crazy about a college kid advocating to get a job

When did we get pissed off at someone who says "I want to work"??
