Generally, Massie has couched his disputes with President Trump in policy terms. Not this time.

I'm struck by his straightened hair and beard... for whatever reasons, of all people, it's giving Willem Defoe vibes.
Aside from that... his overall point wasn't totally terrible... but that personal lives dig was not called for nor was it pertinent to the point being made.

In most policy disputes I have sided with Massie over Trump, but this is the first time I have seen him take a cheap shot at the President.

I think the personal swipe is understandable, honestly... Everyone is human and God love the man, but Trump is like a dog with a bone if you get in his way.
The physical transformation... is shocking. Looks better that way, but isn't "Massie" anymore, if that makes sense.

You don't want nothing but yes men around... Massie is annoying as all get out, but I'd be more uncomfortable if everyone "yessed" all the time. Friction isn't always bad... rubs away the dirt.

I am not calling Trump a pig.
I am pointing out that Massie has lost his principled contrarian libertarian badge by getting in the mud when he's been all about being above the fray.
