Vytorius Miller is a good player and mcmahon didn't play him enough.

Kid can light it up.

The kid is a hooper. I got downvoted relentlessly for this, but I stand by it. If he stayed committed to Oregon, he would be playing in the NBA right now.

VJ Miller should have been a starter on our team, but McMahon has shown a penchant for not playing the right players and having questionable rotations.

His attitude is subpar from what i heard, kid wasnt bought in. Obviously talented, but not a good fit for culture

He had no buy in . No commitment to practice and work hard on D. Very much a mutual parting.

When you're quite clearly the second most talented player on your team and riding the bench I’d be mad too

Right. It's crazy. Look at all the players that left.

Miller should've played much more and you would have him this yr.

It’s funny how every year there’s player(s) with “attitude problems” on these rosters.

These things happen for different reasons, but in VJs case I think it’s overblown. McMahon is too old school- preferring seniority and developing players (if anyone doubts this he literally said it himself in numerous press conferences).

He was likely hesitant to play miller due to his inexperience but he needs to learn that in power conference basketball seniority doesn’t mean shite. Sometimes the best players are true freshmen. They shouldn’t be benched just because of age.

If you don’t practice hard and buy in to staffs vision you will not play. It was obvious from early on he wasn’t a great teammate and complementary player. Yes it was MM that brought him in. But it was an easy decision not to play him when others were working harder in practice.

He wanted assured minutes and shots. He doesn’t play very good D or do a ton else (not saying MacKinnon or Carter do..King does) but he is elite offensively and would be huge. I would love to have him instead of a couple of our guys but we chose DJ Thomas over Vyc. He is a ball dominant scorer. He is elite at it, but DJ makes the entire team better.

If McMahon keeps fricking up the rotations (I hate the minutes distribution…but it is early and things are falling into place) then having certain players won’t even matter
