I don’t see shite yet and I didn’t know about it last night so I didn’t look. So far, only what looks to be brightness from city lights to the north on my phones camera but no pinks, greens, or reds whatsoever.

Last night was a G4, tonight was a G2 until an hour or so ago and it strengthened to a G3 which means its pretty faint in the south. They say its still possible to get to a G4 tonight but odds are it won't.

You seem tapped into the issue. What level “G” is visible to the naked eye?

I'm no expert just read a few articles today since it was all over the news. In general, In the south G3 is very very faint to the nekid eye if you are outside the city lights where its very dark. But G4 which we had last night is visible even in the city but its much more impressive in pics. Now if you are further north then a G3 is visible to the nekid eye. So it really depends on where you are located. Also contributing to visibility is the direction of the interplanetary magnetic field. Last night it was pointing south and tonight its pointing more north so we aren't getting the full force of the lights down here.

I've also been reading comments on Texas Storm Chasers facebook group which is full of weather nurds. It's been educational as well.
