This space is officially reserved as a protest space until William Julius Green is relieved of his coaching duties.

The only way the Pelicans win tonight is if Billups has money on the Pels

Hopefully they’ll be some fire willie chants tonight.

Empty seats, bags, flipping owner suite off, fire Willie, be as destructive as you can tonight watching the Pels get blown out again.

Sell this team Gayle, do it.

Doesn't matter. We are apathetic to this organization.

The fact that this games outcome decides his fate is so dumb. We’re 10 games into the year. He’s getting fired at some point. Everyone knows it. Just do it now. Gayle is so dumb and pathetic

So if he wins, does he get to coach the next game? Is this a game by game thing?

So crazy. Just fire him now before the game

I guess every game is like an episode of survivor and we’re waiting to see if Willie is voted out.

The tribe has spoken… a few years ago.

Seems Dodson has clarified that a blowout gets him fired, a close loss likely still buys him time.

So root for Blazers by 50

Lol...that's worse than win or go home.

So now it is ok to lose just make it close.

Which is crazy because if you’re evaluating a coach by margin of win or loss they've lost their mind. If they’re down to that just go ahead and fire him.

Exactly, it’s absolutely insane saying “its ok to lose, just don’t lose by alot”

Let’s Geaux Blazers. I’m serious we are going to finish in the bottom regardless At least with Willie gone we may have some hope in the future

Why in the world would the outcome of a game against the Blazers have anything to do with whether or not he should be fired? What could this game possibly tell them that would make them change their mind?

Obviously they need to fire Green, but honestly I don’t think the franchise turns around until the team is sold to someone who really wants to win and is smart and ambitious. And that owner will clean house and turn the organization around. Until the team is sold, I don’t see long-term success.

I see people wishing for the team to move. Why would anyone want that? The organization is dysfunctional and frustrating, but you should want the team sold to someone who wants to win in New Orleans. Forget Willie Green… make Gayle feel the heat.

Jrue walking in to the arena wearing a “Good News Is Near” sweatshirt.

Hopefully for us fans!

Will Guillory had an article he wrote yesterday that the belief is when/if Willie is fired that a total house cleaning is likely to follow, I’m sure not Dumars and Weaver but everyone else.

So it may not be a givein that JB takes over as coach for the rest of the year, they could bring in someone else

Personally, I hate bringing in a new coach during the season.

A coach needs a full offseason to prepare a team. Getting a new coach to come in during the season is setting him up for failure.

Depends on the coach. Personally I think JB needs to be able to take over, he has the most time with the team and knows the guys and they love him.

I think someone respected like Malone or Jenkins could step in at the ASB or something if it’s obvious JB is not the future and do well starting to instill their culture though
