LSU has screwed this up so badly. A guy that the national media hates is now being portrayed as a victim by those same people.

LSU is still paying him what he’s owed right now and has negotiated a buyout of a lump sum which is very much normal in these situations.
This lawsuit is based off of allegations that LSU is trying to fire him for cause, NOT that they are as that hasn’t happened. Why is everyone assuming Kelly isn’t getting paid? It’s wild.

I am leaning towards wanting him to get the full buyout. If those big nuts power hungry billboard trial lawyers are behind this like what has been discussed, I want to see birdshit all over their faces. I despise those guys. They are hurting our state.

This was his plan when his seat became hot. People are completely forgetting he said he would be open to a renegotiation of a buyout, LSU has made offers that Kelly declined with no counter, and now Kelly is suing for the whole amount in hopes LSU lost the leverage due to a procedural penalty that LSU took too long to fire him. That is called bad faith.
He is a complete piece of shite. I didn't hate him before today, but I can see pretty clearly what he did. Became insufferable and unworkable to get pushed out. He is gambling on LSU saving face and paying, which they likely will. Probably the correct move, but the damage is done.

Nobody feels bad for BK. He was disliked at ND. It will cause more people to dislike LSU though.
Sometimes there are no good guys in disputes. Sometimes there are no bad guy, either. This is the former.
