Coach O has more integrity than Brian kelly

Ed realized when it was over and walked away when he should. He did coach LSU and won a NC.
When confronted with reality he said what do you want me to do?
Kelly committed insubordination, walked out of the room on his boss, indicated he would negotiate in good faith, then withdrew that and now is quickly losing any opportunity he has to maintain some personal integrity.
Coach O is still grateful to have coached at LSU.
Looks like brian may have never deserved the title coach

Coach O was immediately given his entire buyout. LSU is fighting Kelly over negotiating his down. Completely opposite situations.

Coach got his 17 mil buyout yes, cant compare to kelly and 54 mil. No comparison

It's not about the money but how you handled the situation.
Coach O won a natty and deserved his payout. He walked away in a professional manner
bk never won anything to speak of and walked out of a meeting like a spoiled brat .

He didn’t walk away / he was unceremoniously kicked out on his arse !

He didn’t walk away, he was fired. They just told him he’d get the full buyout if he was a good soldier. Completely different than BK.

Perhaps some of BK's failures were actually on the AD who wouldn't let the head coach hire and fire his staff as he felt needed. The AD had his hands far too much into the mix. BK showed the AD the proper amount of respect.
Is there any sane person that thinks Brad Davis should still be our OL coach? But Woody sure did.

That’s not how contracts work.
Coach O also followed that up with an 11-11 record the next 2 years.

Two totally different situations. Kelly should get every red cent it’s business

I agree. LSU should honor the contract.

O loves LSU
CBK loves himself / $$$$

Don’t agree to the contract if you don’t want to hold up your end of the bargain plain and simple.
Like him or not, Kelly wants nothing more than what is contractually owed to him.

I liked Coach O better. He just lost control with the success. It happens, Brian Kelly just failed in all levels over time.
Coach O had higher highs and much lower lows. Wish he could have handled it, I think he could have done good over the long haul

Don't look now, but under BK the last 2 seasons might end up being 15-11 even with an $18M roster

BK finished with a 34-14 record as LSU’s coach.

I'm a fan of O's so don't take this the wrong way but he was fricking fired for essentially abandoning his post once he got to the mountaintop.
And turning the screws to get what's contractually owed you doesn't mean Kelly has no integrity. It means Woodward signed a shitty contract for LSU.

Record is irrelevant.
When LSU gave Kelly the contract it knew there was a chance it would be in this situation.

But thats exactly what the OP is doing. Orgeron was given 100% of his buyout. He didn't do some honorable gesture for LSU.
