Looks like this will be the title game. Georgia and Ole Miss are also possible. Sad times for the Tigers. Given expectations this has to be one of the most depressing seasons in a long time Vandy Ole Miss Indiana all relevant while we are playing a meaningless 1145 a game against Arkansas and we spent 20 million on our roster !

Reminds me of the 98 and 16 seasons when we had massive expectations and underachieved by a large margin. No coincidence those seasons marked the end for Dinardo, Les, and Kelly.

Add 1989 to that list too which was the beginning of the end for Archer.

I was at the Georgia 98 game when Quincey Carter hit that long pass I think on a 4th and 2 to keep their game winning drive alive We were 3-0 and ranked 6th in country. Gerry D never recovered from that loss

I worry that we are one bad hire away from being mediocre for years. I hope we get this hire done correctly and we can get our NIL funds pumping. Having everyone going in the correct direction from coaching to funding would be the quickest way into our next championship!

This season made me realize the Hellman era wasn’t nearly as bad as I remember it. Team played tough every game and never lost by more than 2 scores.

Yup. The coaches never did themselves any favors either. Spend the whole off season hyping your team up saying you finally got all the pieces in place/issues resolved and then look like shite. That’ll just about get anyone fired.

Florida beat us 58-3. We were 2-9 one year under Curley. Yes he was the worse coach on LSU history

It’s going to be a sad day when they win the natty. I think they’re the best team in the SEC

Seems as though this tread got a little off track...but anyhow I think Oklahoma is going to beat Bama this weekend. While watching these two teams play a lot this year - I don't think Bama is good as they are perceived and Oklahoma isn't as bed as people think. No way would I recommend a bet, but this is just my two cents.
