So the new pres at LSU..

had no idea about Verge and the Title IX stuff.... and didn't know what it meant to remove an interim tag and make the man the permanent AD.
LSU is in great hands!! Now I fully expect a lower tier coach.

My opinion is that it is a complicated dynamic. The new President has to dance around the fine line between not publicly attaching himself too much to Verge but also has to give off the appearance of a stable athletic department under clear leadership. It’s a tight rope to walk IMO

Set up a real meeting with Verge and express your concerns. Im sure you can bring two 40s and have a good discussion and maybe he will let you pick the new coach and then he will fire himself because you said so.

And sorry but I just have ZERO faith in anything LSU regarding the new pres, the AD and them actually hiring someone that can or is a legit HC.
