Will there be the same national media outcry about officiating after this game

Like there was after the LSU vs South Carolina game last year? It got to the point I wish we would’ve just lost that game because the way people in the media were preaching how bad they got screwed and how things need to change
Or will the gump pundits like Josh Pate, Rece Davis, Greg Mcelroy etc switch their rhetoric back to “officials don’t decide the games”.
It’s always funny how there’s never the same narrative spewed when Bama gets the benefit of terrible officiating

Nah, it’s just our imagination and “we whine all the time”
At this point, it’s just accepted

This game wasn’t as remotely close.

A. WTF does that matter?
B. It was a one possession game in 4Q

What in the world was that call on the 1st down run by MVB...something about the hips???
Posted on 11/9/25 at 11:31 am to Guzzlingil
They reviewed to figure how early they could decide when he started his slide
Just unbelievable never before seen shite as usual

Typical made up bull shite bama gets every year. Where he hips started to go down isn’t even a rule and after watching up to 20 college games a week I’ve NEVER heard it called EVER.
Then MVB comes in and he has bama on their heels driving so the refs review every play to give BAMA a chance to get their shite together.
Then yet again bama has one penalty in the game. That ONE was ripping a players helmet off and they had to call it.

I think the national expectation is just that when LSU plays alabama, the refs play for alabama.
It’s always been that way and unless LSU is throttling them, the refs play their part in determining the outcome.

What calls were there that LSU got screwed on?
Posted on 11/9/25 at 11:49 am to LSBoosie
Well, the actual problem is the calls they don't make vs bama.
But the sliding on MVB was horse shite.
The no call in the 1st Q when they threw an LSU WR on the ground well after the play in out of bounds was BS as well.
Did you not watch the game?

They’ve been mentioned in the thread dumbass

So the early slide call? That’s what we are expecting everyone to be outraged for us about?
Posted on 11/9/25 at 12:03 pm to ColtTiger247
The refs were better than our offensive line. Improve the O-line play significantly, and you won't be complaining about the referees.

When we were in the red zone in second half, bama had 12 on the field and a bunch of flags were thrown. The refs all huddled up while bamas 12th guy ran off the field and ultimately they called a false start on us.
Three straight first downs were booth reviewed for us but they didn’t review a single one of bamas sketchy “catches”
Their punt crossed the goal line but they gave us the ball at the 2.
After calling back MVB’s first down run and giving us fourth and short, disconcerting signals should have been called on their defense but instead they called a false start on us.
Blatant blocks in the backs and holds every time one of our DL got in the backfield.
They threw our WR to the ground well out of bounds in first half.
Running into our punter.
Seriously, did you watch the game? That was as big of bullshite reffing I’ve ever watched in my life.

The fact they didn’t even review the Horton catch when him and woodland were battling for the ball and reviewed a freaking QB slide is just laughable

I'm not giving the refs that much credit, our offensive line is garbage and we have trouble getting plays in regardless of home and away, it's embarrassing. We have a veteran QB who doesn't read the field well and a backup who struggles with accuracy but gives us a running dimension.
That said, my only complaints on the officiating:
-the no call personal foul by the Bama player throwing our guy down while both were out of bounds
-the no call running into the punter
-the review with MVB sliding which was total BS
-not familiar with this rule but not giving the ball to Woodland on that catch/INT
That said and not pinning this on Ramos but if our FG kicker makes a chip shot to start the game, we cut this thing to 17-12 and give ourselves a fighting chance. If Sharp doesn't fumble the ball away, Bama doesn't get gifted 3 points. If our offensive line was just better at execution and the basics, maybe we actually score a TD with all our WR weapons in all those trips in the red zone and the outcome's different. The moment we start blaming the refs for Ws and Ls, we lose the mental battle and thus the war. Just gotta play better.

Let’s all consider signing a petition with thousands of signatures. Send to NCAA, SEC HQ. If no response or apology ask for a special hearing in congress on sports cheating scams. Maybe cc the governors office lol
