Nuss is still a kid

I’m reading all these comments about people not feeling sorry for him because he’s a millionaire. I guess I’m a softy, because I do. That dude was all about LSU. Was he overrated? Yeah. Was he lazy during the offseason? Maybe.
I hear mixed reports, but most likely he didn’t prepare like he should have. Bottom line is he’s a kid, not even close to being fully developed mentally yet. When we were that age, none of us would have turned down millions. I don’t fault him.
I fault what this hand-out world has become. It’s ruining people. It would have ruined the majority of us too if we were handed all that money and entitlement. I hate what this world and game has become. So yeah, I feel sorry for him. He’s a heart broken kid and feels like a failure.

The hate for nuss shows how ignorant fans are. In the era of players transferring when they don’t start immediately, he stuck around and waited his turn. He wanted to be a tiger his entire career and that’s not something you see anymore. The vile shite I see idiots on here posting about him is pathetic.

he is a failure, at least as a college qb, and he was groomed for this gig, has had every opportunity to succeed but just doesn't have the goods to bring to the table

It's hard to take criticism, or except blame, when you've told your entire life that you're better than every one else. This guy is the son of an NFL coach, he's never been told otherwise

He is a “kid “ that took a three million check to provide a service… he is older than I was when I was working my tail off on a rig and providing for my wife and son.. he was born into money..
He already scammed more money than most people will make in their life…

He’s a man. Maybe he hasn’t fully developed mentally but he’s almost 24 years old. All that kid stuff isn’t garnering anything sympathy from me. Most of us had to grow up and pay the bills by the time we were his age. He’s a millionaire, if he invests his money wisely he’s set for life. Just because he’s not good at football doesn’t mean you need to feel bad for him.

I’m sure Nuss is a good person and I wish him success in life.
He is paid to play football and as such he warrants criticism in his professional shortcomings.
It’s not personal to say he is an absolutely horrendous QB and I’ll be glad when he is no longer paid to perform in that role at LSU.

I would normally agree with this stance, however when these athletes are getting paid millions of dollars, it kind of goes out the window.
You are paid, putting you in the same catergory as pro players. Everyone expects an ROI

Nuss was not given every opportunity to succeed. He was given one of the worse o lines lsu has ever fielded……a disgrace….
