The good news is that the right guy can get things going well pretty quickly these days. Maybe not “win a natty” good by next year but we can at least be competitive by next year.

I feel ya. But a good OL coach and a couple transfers can make you functional and he can likely get more out of the talent you already have.

This is BKs team. Was never up to the LSU standard. Just a little lacking. If those 3 field goals had been 3 TDs. This would be a diffenet outcome. The OL is lacking big time. QBs are average. Defense is Ok most of the time.

Kelly made this program soft. No one can even argue against it at this point. He was lazy and that trickled down to the players. Good news, with the portal and a really good hire, that can be turned around quickly. You have evidence all across the country.

Haulcy and Delane were the only 2 hits in the portal this season. I feel bad for Haulcy. He should have stayed at Houston. Now he's playing for a joke of a team.

Haulcy and Delane are gone. The whole o line needs to be gone. Williams did a better job than Davis. It's amazing to me the coaches wait so long to make a change. The offensive coaches are pathetic all the way around.

I don’t see that as a problem with transfer portal and NIL There will be a huge turnover on the roster. It may look like it did when CEO got canned. Mass exodus
True there’s no signs of development but that’s been problem since before BK was hired. Especially on the OL, DL. We haven’t been relavent or competing for a real post season spot (except 2019) for the past 13+ years.

Dude, this is not 2005. With the right hires and the portal, we can be competitive next year. Maybe not national title competitive but playoff spot competitive.

Again, this board has amnesia. If not for Joe Burrow, LSU has been soft since the Miles days. The culture has been soft since the Miles days. Burrow changed it briefly, but not the coaches.
