Heck yeah...my kittie who passed recently, once alerted me to a hood rat trying to break into my home at 4AM.
She started hissing and meowing hard...my two pitts then jumped into action...
It didn't end well for the hood rat.

Dogs study your daily habits very closely. They like routine and they react when something is out of the ordinary.

YouTube cracked down on people starving and torturing animals to create rescue content.
If it’s not AI…The cynic in me wonders how many times must a parent surreptitiously video while the other knocks something over onto the toddler before the dog saves him?

Do Doberman's save more lives or take more lives each year?

I've always had dogs, but I inherited a Siamese cat 4 years ago. It had strictly been an outside cat for 14 years, but I brought her in the house in less than a month. Now she's an inside/outside cat. Incredibly affectionate.
Dogs and cats are both gifts from God.

Don't have dogs, but the cats alert us to everything in the yard from squirrels to deer to "unwanted visitors". When it's any kind of animal they get all excited, but when it's the two-legged variety, they arch their backs and the hair stands up. Their visual cues are easy to read.
Now granted, it's most usually just kids from town cutting across the back yard on their way to hang out at the creek which is awesome to me, but sometimes the geeter crew lingers about and we're forced to make our presence known.
