Go visit Thorncrown Chapel outside Eureka Springs

Eureka:
-Many places (especially restaurants) have seasonal closures or odd days closed. Plan around that.
-Zipline is fun
-Paddling white river is fun and relaxing this time of year.

If you're in Branson for a more than a couple of days, make the hour trip north to Springfield and visit the Wonders of Wildlife Aquarium at the Bass Pro Shops headquarters. We got bored of Branson so the Aquarium was suggested to us and I'm glad we went. 5 stars.
There are few amazing hiking spots near Eureka Springs, including a few waterfalls just an hour or so away. Downtown Eureka is fun for an afternoon of strolling.

I was sorely disappointed with Branson

Branson is terrible if you are boating on the lake, you might as well go to pigeon forge.
Everything there is better: mountains, theme parks, hiking. Etc.

Spent 3 days in Eureka this past June. It’s definitely a quirky little place. I did enjoy it. Ziplining was a blast.
