Someone should apply to get a custom license plate with this on it.

It’s amazing that any state would be this corrupt and this fricking stupid and short sided.

Does Louisiana have a recall process?

Amazing would be if it were any other state. Par for the course in Louisiana. Landry appears to be overdoing it though. Shutdown the barataria project and now letting this to go through. Despicable. Absolutely no shred of integrity or morals.

I am a died in the wool conservative but Landry would have me considering Bernie Sanders as a write in candidate.

Its hard to comprehend the damage he is doing to Louisiana fishing and LSU football. Fishing and football sound trivial on the surface until you realize the economic impact the two activities have on the State.

LOL
I’m with you one this. I will tell anyone of my conservative friends(I’m conservative) that I would take JBE back over Landry. Jeff is such a dumbass and then speaks and confirms it.

Same. And you know its bad when you have guys with a half dozen MAGA hats flying Trump flags dog cussing him. He has to be the most tone deaf fricktard in recent memory.

I know there was some minor dissention amongst recreational fisherman concerning the sediment diversion plan and disinformation about it affecting saltwater fishing in the immediate area.

The pogy boat thing is a different animal and is downright mindboggling. There is literally not one good thing this does for the fishery short term or long term. It has known negative impacts on recreational and commercial fisherman shrimpers, and oystermen. It is also proven to have a negative impact on a major component of the pyramid of life for the entire ecosystem and may be doing long term damage in ways we have yet to determine.

JBE was not that liberal. He would have been the most conservative politician in 1/4 of the States in the US.

Lobbyists are running our natural resource managment and it is obvious....

Just get some Canada and South Africa bumper stickers cause that who you were sold out to. They own the processing plants which are annihilating your tarpon, reds, and trout. So ya move them in closer.

What does the buffer zone even mean? I see them in Breton sound annually inside of the barrier islands. Does liberalizing an unenforced rule even matter?

Sadly all of this regarding Landry was easy to see yet he got over 50% of the vote.
I wish more voters would’ve paid attention and not voted for him.
I’m just sad of seeing corrupt politicians sell out the state and our resources to the highest bidder.

But but but everyone on here I bet PRAISED him for allowing all the "tort reform" laws that benefit the billion dollar insurance companies, not the people of this state.

"ooooh but he promised our rates are gonna go down..." Check back in with me in 3 years. Bet you they went up! Just like every other year after every other "tort reform"

The man works for the big business. not the people.

That is very true. At least he appeared to be an honest, decent person. Landry certainly does not give off those vibes. Although JBE irked me with his following every Biden mandate during Covid, he generally was a good Governor. And remember, nothing prevents him from running again. If the election was held tomorrow, he would skull drag Landry.

At this point, I'll vote for any Republican that challenges him in the primary. Otherwise I'll stay home on election day...or maybe even vote for a democrat for the first time

I have nothing bad to say about JBE. If he had R in front of his name most people wouldn’t have anything bad to say either

Not to get political here but Covid-19 was here during Trumps last year as POTUS. All that stupid crap we had to do was during his term

Landry and Nungesser are both disappointments. The day we vote them out can't get here soon enough.

Not really, Landry's financial backers are the exact same as JBE's, the Trial Lawyers
