If you don't think that LSU baseball is big boy sports then I don't know what to tell you.

Perhaps the dumbest thing posted today. I know it’s early but for this place it’s still impressive

Baseball is a "big boy" sport. If you are just referring to Football then until the shite show ends you're not getting a "homerun hire"

Exactly . College football and men’s basketball are the big boy sports when it comes to college athletics.

At this point, I'll take a stand up triple hire.

I’d take a hit by pitch, walk, or single at this point. Recent events have not given me much confidence that we can get on base.

What is a homerun hire? Let's look back on previous hires.

Nick Saban- Not a homerun hire at the time-Won a national championship
Les Miles-Not a homerun hire at the time. Won a national championship and played for another
Coach O-Not a homerun hire-won a national championship
Brian Kelly-Some said this was a homerun hire. Was definitely a big name with success. Fired after 3 1/2 seasons.

So, which direction would you go? Give me a young hungry coach that demands physicality.

The only people that care about baseball are fans of the SEC and a dozen or so West Coast fans. It's why the only live games you get on ESPN are when regional play starts.

I never said nobody watches baseball, it's just not what 98% of colleges use to pay the bills.

What is your definition of "big boy" sport then. Claiming its not is extremely ignorant but carry on.

Alex Golesh is a great up and coming Saban that LSU can hire for a reasonable salary and give great upside incentives, to make him benefit from his success.
If LSU doesn't get Saban back, I sure hope LSU sees the opportunity this young coach can give to LSU for years to come.
