Witcher S4 sees less than half as many 1st week viewers as S3 (which was a series low)

It died the second Cavill left

I fully believe all the rumors that he was pissed at how little they cared about following the source material

It’s almost like everyone quit watching because the main actor who is a big Witcher nerd isn’t in it and the writers wiped their arse with the source material. But that’s just me spit ballin’

I feel like I could make a good living walking into studios telling them not to do this exact shite. Why does this keep happening other than they are in their own ideological bubble? The damn story is already written for you. Obviously some things change when bringing it live action but just follow the damn story line that is already a big hit.

Already crappy show changes lead actor and drops in viewership. Shocking.

There is no other reason.

They are not trying to tell good stories or make money. They are trying to indoctrinate the audience.

And because they are not trying to tell good stories, they need an audience that is already baked in to the product to make sure there’s an audience for their propaganda.

Hence all the “reimagining,” i.e. propagandizing, of established brands like the Witcher, Lord of the Rings, Wheel of Time, the MCU, Ghostbusters, Oceans 11, Doctor Who, etc., etc., etc.

I’ve seen people whine about posts like this being “political” and not appropriate for this board, but this is so prevalent in the entertainment industry right now idk how you can have a discussion of most movies/television without at least acknowledging the Marxist propaganda.

Watched the whole season. Got to the end, not even realizing that was actually the end. Very underwhelming even without much knowledge of the original source material.

It is obvious that theu have to use established franchises as a vehicle. No one would watch their original content

I will never begrudge anyone for enjoying a show.

I thought S3 was horrendous, so I will not be watching S4.

Glad you liked it.

Apparently, you were supposed to watch some movie called The Rats: A Witcher Tale before watching season 4. I heard that movie is awful as well.

Hemsworth did not bother me as much as I thought and I enjoyed Laurence Fishburn’s character quite a bit. The story was weak as shite though. Lack of actual monster fights sucked. The battle in the finale was ok and I like the dwarf characters. Ciri’s crew sucked and was boring. I was glad when old baw fricked them up for good. Is that dude an evil Witcher or just a bad arse?

I’m not against lesbian antics if they are hot but that other chick was gross and not anywhere near Ciri’s league.

I didnt understand that. He seems to have killed a bunch of witchers and easily dispatched the one we did see him fight. I would have at least liked a little back story as to how thats possible and who he is.

They always seem to do this with the lesbian characters

I thought that was Witcher Medallions he was wearing around his neck. Looked like at least 4. Would definitely like to know more about him. Him and Fishburne were like the only two interesting characters.

He is a former soldier turned bounty hunter that has killed Witchers before.

He is a legit badass, and one of the best villains in the entire book series. He has honor, in his own mind. But he has no qualms with taking a contract and just not fulfilling it, because he finds a higher bidder.

Without spoiling anything, he is very, very important to Ciri's story going forward.

Well Season 5 has been filmed so the show will come to its natural end.

its natural end.
For most of the audience, that was midway through S3
