It’s been a 380 day drought since the Greatest City in the World last celebrated a World Championship when the Libs SHATTERED the glass ceiling and brought home their first WNBA Championship of the World. Let’s start with the process of elimination. The Mets will continue to spend 90% of their revenue on payroll and still end up choking. The Jets are the Jets. The Rangers are cold as the ice they skate on. The Giants aren’t ready brother. That leaves three teams.

First, let’s start with the Yankees. It’s hard to think a team with Aaron Boone managing and Anthony Volpe at shortstop will be next, but the Yankees are blessed to have the greatest right handed hitter in the history of baseball, our Commander in Chief and your soon to be UNANIMOUS AL MVP, The Punisher, Aaron “THE JUDGE” Judge. Through THE JUDGE, all things are possible. The Yankees have a great chance to end the drought, unless…

The Knicks. The Knicks could get there first on the back of Jalen “ACTION BRUNSON” Brunson. Anything can happen in the NBA and the Knicks can break through and bring a chip back to The World’s Most Famous Arena.

Lastly is the least likely, the Libs. I see the GOAT A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces continuing to run the W.

Anyway, what say tMSB? Who will break through? I’ll hang up and listen.

Damn I was going to start a thread something similar.

Jalen Brunson is a fricking

I love the Nuggets, don't get me wrong (that's my mutha f u c k i n team ) but for clutch playing, Brunson's up there and it's a joy to watch him play (reg. season, playoffs, no one's better).

Oh yeah brother, to answer your question... I'm thinking Knicks will win the next big one for NYC. Never count out the Yankees (best pro franchise in the history of history), but I could see the Knicks winning this year.

Jets: they're accumulating FRDCs, Thunder-Style. Give them a year or two.

None of them. There is no such thing as a "World Championship" in any of our major leagues in the US.

They do not play global competition to win their respective title.

MLS Cup isn’t a World Championship, they would get spanked in the Club World Cup.

Is anything a “World Championship” if you don’t play …. the world?

Everyone except the NFL has teams in Canada… who’s gonna compete from elsewhere?

There are only 30 professional basketball or baseball teams in the world?
