That is how long it took America to forget 9/11.

The age range that wasn't alive on 9/11 (or was too young to remember) is exactly what put the Socialist over the top.
It's not so much forgetting as not understanding.

Just like in 1948, when 7 yrs after Pearl Harbor the US elected Yukio Fujimoto president

Could you be more dramatic?
NYC isn’t “America”. Why do so many of you even care—or take more than a passing notice—which liberal is elected to run the city?

That is how long it took New York to forget. We don't forget in the south.

Who else are they going to blame for their problems? Themselves?

How many days was it before MAGA forgot 9/11 and started loving the Saudis?

What a dumb comment.

Why, because you’re from New York and overvalue NYC’s importance to national politics?

By all means explain. I fail to see how liberal New Yorkers voting for Mandami forecast anything remotely relevant. His opponents were all terrible, I’m shocked he didn’t win by more.

You don't care about the same things I care about.
Were you upset about any of the child rapes that have occurred in Europe?
Unprosecuted crimes?
I understand, you want an American city under Sharia law ( if only in practice).
I'm afraid our differences are irreconcilable.

Says who? What is it that you care about that I don’t?

Of course I care about child rape, wherever it occurs

There’s a difference between disagreeing with something and believing that the thing happening somewhere else impacts me. I don’t live in NYC. If they want to elect people who don’t care about crime, then they made their bed. That’s the system we have. It doesn’t impact me. Do you not have tangible things to worry about? NYC becoming a lawless hell hole isn’t my concern.

That’s just absurd to begin with, and you clearly don’t understand how the legal system works. The mayor of NYC doesn’t control NY State law, which governs the criminal and civil areas.

We aren’t, you just seem to care about emotional clickbait.

I'm kind of surprised that it took that long.

Why would they not vote for him
He’s gonna fix Housing problems
Have free busing
And make the city safer.
Yet he never says how?
It’s gonna be fine he’s got it covered

No, because you're not from New York and undervalue it. How was 9/11 just an attack on New York? It's a stupid comment.

Huh?
I don’t undervalue New York and never said anything about 9/11 being only an attack on New York. I simply recognize that NYC’s governance is not a national issue. We aren’t the UK. The United States isn’t centered on New York City, and whoever those idiots vote to be their mayor has nothing to do with 9/11, nor does it impact the nation in any meaningful way.
