Verge and Saban

The fact that they are as close as Verge described, I think is extremely beneficial for us…forget about him coming back to coach… but for Verge to be close enough to him to have him as a trusted advisor is invaluable…

Or just hire a smart person who doesn't have to rely on someone else do advise them on how to do their job. I hope Verge is able to handle the job well but this seems like a disaster.

i dont know what the hell is going on but the fact that he said he talks to Saban every couple of weeks was shocking to me.

Any good leader has trusted advisors. It has nothing to do with intelligence. An intelligent person surrounds himself with people that he can trust and seek guidance from

Is this Bible? Does anyone have video / pics of them hanging out? I’ve talked my company’s CEO a few times…… that doesn’t mean I’m close with him.
Show me that Verge and Saban are close (outside of his term at LSU)

Verge did say he talks to Saban and that’s not happening. He also mentioned having to wait after playoffs which points to Lane. IMO
