But with the oline being what it is and not being able to give an immobile QB time. Why does everyone not see we need to try MVB?

MVB is not nearly the runner people are selling him to be on the board and mobile QBs do not offset pass rush. Mobile QBs get sacked more.

There is no way he is truly hurt on every play. If he is he should never have been playing. It’s funny how he’s tanked his own draft stock by coming back

He is not a statue. Nuss is just really terrible.

Nuss is in between Brandon Harris and Danny Etling.

Something we have to know. He is an 8-4 QB

We are not in the building. If Frank still thinks Nuss is the starting QB, then obviously thats the right choice. He already said they will get MVB in to the game as needed/if necessary, so that’s better than BK/Sloan.

Half of this board just sees a black QB & thinks he’s Jayden Daniels

His attitude this year has been total shite. Could have been frustration with the coaching staff and atmosphere…

Complete 180 from last year.

Better at moving the pocket. Don’t need him to be JD.

True, but he's more mobile than Nuss

That's not true, it all depends on how you use them.

I do think we need someone who can move the pocket, and can escape if there's someone free 5-6 yds away. Nuss can't do that right now, and he also can't push the ball down the field with authority.

We're not going to beat Alabama or Oklahoma either way, but we should at least give Van Buren the shot to play more, let him audition for next year's squad.

Project much?

Nuss can’t put a football on a rope a single game this year. MVB looks like a college QB, at least.

We’re not saying MVB is the savior, but he might give you a chance. Nuss does not.

All of this is so old and tiresome.

If MVB could do half of what the Lombardi posters here state he can do, he would be playing.

Period.

This is not your JV team where a coach is “developing” a player for Varsity play.

If MVB showed in practice the ability to perform at a level that would CONSISTENTLY help the team, he would be getting snaps.

Maybe we will see that opportunity Saturday.

And for CERTAIN, the coaches know what his best.

Good you can carry his pillow and boggie! He is a puss. Play MVB before we get 14 points behind Saturday then put him in. MVB needs to start or come in the second series if Nuss Fks up.

He’s whiny, injury prone and seems unlikeable.
