A large portion of SNAP recipients use these funds to buy luxury food items then sell them in the ghetto’s for cash supplements in supporting their government subsidized lifestyles.
Families need food to eat but buying up hundreds of pounds of king crab legs and baby back ribs at the food depot every month shows the problem here…

All of these social welfare programs have done is turn the US into a dumping ground of economic refugees and given shelter to the least motivated among us.
Being the land of opportunity does not mean, "to get a handout" but to earn a living.
I'm not concerned with economic disparity. I'm more concerned that the financial least of us are some of the fattest humans on the planet. To me, that's a sign of a bad system and one that needs a drastic overhaul.
"Tough love" needs to make a comeback.

Societal shift in the last 50 years. People used to come here for the opportunity to work hard and improve their lives. Now (the majority) probably come here for the opportunity to mooch off the taxpayers.

It appears to be Atlanta, so that explains that.

There is a post on what it looks like in Moscow. First thing I noticed is no fat people...
I see these people claiming that we must have free breakfast at school because of the disadvantaged but all I see in elem school kids who are already obese going to free breakfast of cinnamon rolls and pancakes.

Buying? Funny you said that as this just made the news a week ago.

A black guy in his late 20's that used to work for me (decent guy, decent worker...)had a bad background but seemed to be trying to turn it around... moved to Iowa from Chicago. One day we went to the grocery store to buy some stuff because we were having a work morale grill out on a friday night. We goto checkout and when I payed with my debit card he got this confused look on his face and asked me why I paid with my working money instead of my EBT card, I explained to him that I make to much money to qualify for those benefits and always have... he told me that everyone and anyone he knew growing up in Chicago had an EBT card or food stamps... he actually thought the Government gave them to everyone. He worked with us a few more months and quit showing up... maybe he didn't want to lose his welfare because we made decent money...
