He’s not coaching, we could get Mrs. Terry in his ear and if for some miracle it happened…he would right this ship quickly, Make him an offer she cant let him refuse ;)

I'm riding with this. He's old as frick but 2-3 years while looking for replacement that might not be available right now is a good idea IMO

He would be the most powerful man in the state.
He may understand the situation and do this

I’m not saying it’s going to happen, but hell yes atleast make the offer.

He’s 74. Quit Bama because he hates the new college football landscape. What could go wrong?

Mrs. Terry hasn't said no

He’s almost 75 years old. He retired because he hates the current state of college football. He also admitted before he was feeling more tired. This isn’t the home run yall think it is.

He would do just fine here as long as he has whatever NIL money he needs to buy who he wants.
As for coaching rich football players? He wouldn't have a problem. Those young men will do their job or they'll get cut, lose their NIL deal, and can go get their money from somewhere else. He won't put up with it. It's professional ball.
Having said all of this, I still don't believe he wants to coach.

I really think Landrys verbal diarrhea killed any possibility of this kind of outcome however small the chance may have been.
