I think the only thing that gets him benched is him not being able to manage the game like Rattler could. Rattler had a few absolute stinkers but for the most part he kept a lot of games reasonably close given the talent disparity we face weekly.
I only see Shough getting pulled if he can’t do the basic things he needs to do to keep the game going forward, makes constant mistakes, can’t make reads consistently, etc. Basically shite that puts the games more quickly out of reach than Rattler’s conservative play did.
