Only 42 years old

Multiple 10 plus win seasons at Mizzou so theirs clear proof he can rebuild a program

Teams play with physically

I think he would a very underrated hire

Wouldn't be the worst hire. Especially if he brings Petrino as OC. Petrino would bring incredible offensive rigor and scheme. Just hide the volleyball assistants.

Drink is winning for 2 reasons. He actually has gotten the St Louis kids to go to Mizzou. That is something that they have been missing. (for a comparison, the St. Louis athletes are basically like the New Orleans athletes are to us). In the past those St. Louis kids wanted nothing to do with Columbia.

The second reason is because the last couple of years Mizzou's schedule has been baby shite soft. Last year they only beat 2 teams with 8 or more wins. That means that all of the other teams that they beat had 7 or less. That's not a murderers row.

We don't really have a problem getting the New Orleans kids to LSU. We lose some, but the vast majority come here. Plus we have Frank Wilson.

Drinkwitz is weird. Seriously quirky weird. More than half of the fanbase will want him fired after his first press conference.

He seems to be a damn good coach, doing what he has done at Mizzou

LSU could do a lot worse

For some reason fans of bigger programs hate him and look down on him. They think he's a nerd and couldn't lead a FB team

The Rant would melt down

Or if you weren’t looking to diminish the results, wins against 6 “bowl teams”. But hey, who’s really counting

They lost to everyone with a pulse.

They only beat 6 bowl eligible teams (which includes their bowl game)

Buffalo - 9 total wins (8 + bowl)
BC. - 7 total wins (lost bowl)
Vandy - 7 total wins (6 + bowl)
Oklahoma - 6 total wins (lost bowl)
Arky - 7 total wins (6 + bowl)
Iowa - 8 total wins (lost to Mizzou in bowl)

Their non bowl teams were over
Murray State 1-11
Umass 2-10
Auburn 5-7
Miss St 2-10

That’s not a good schedule.

+1 I've been saying he's another Napier, he's been fortunate to have a far easier schedule. His reputation grew by beating an Ohio State team that didn't give a crap about the bowl game

He’s fools gold. He was on the hot seat after 3 years. Turned it around by playing the easiest schedule in the league.

He hasn’t beaten anyone.
