I actually agree with Landry on this one.

I would love to see a Charlie Kirk statue on the LSU Campus. Don't know enough about the head coach issue to comment about it.

I don't think have a statue of a man known as a bastion for open, respectful debate is the worst idea.

I get the "isn't LSU" stance... but it isn't like CK wasn't a fixture of college campus speech and debate.

Not saying y'all need a statue by any means... but at the end of the day, do we want to look up to only sports statues or maybe also some statues that evoke freedom, passion and debate?

People from our own community who do notable things, not glorified influencers who we feel sorry for because they were shot.

Nice guy. Has nothing to do with LSU.

Out of curiosity and because it was hard to get an answer out of google, what were the last five statues put up at LSU?

I want any criminals trying to deface it or tear it down to be held accountable and go to jail. Make an example out of anyone doing it that it won't be tolerated here in Louisiana,

What is it to you? Are you paying for it? Will you be offended? That said, Charlie liked football and I'm sure he's watched some LSU football before....Are you happy now?

Wasn’t it his last scheduled stop prior to being assassinated by a lefty hero.

It's called sarcasm. My point is that you have no skin in the game, blow boy.

I do, and a lot more than Charlie Kirk ever did. But that's not hard because his number was zero.

Because Charlie Kirk would go around to COLLEGE CAMPUSES and advocate for free speech. He was then ASSASSINATED for said FREE SPEECH on a college campus. Leftists killed him because their argument is a false axiom. That is why he is the perfect candidate for a statue.

We don't have statues of George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Einstein, Patton, or a host of other worthy people.

I want a Kirk statue at LSU for no other reason than it would make leftists angry. Any benefit beyond that is a bonus.

Love Charlie, but this has nothing to do with LSU. Not from Louisiana. Never came to LSU's campus.

Landry is an idiot.

Thanks, Best... I was guessing they'd be sports related.
