Put your damn politics aside and realize this clown is actively trying to ruin the reputation of LSU.
First, he brings in Omar the Tiger before getting dog walked in the pouring rain by Alabama for God knows why. Complete embarrassment.
Next, he’s fricking up our head football coaching search when our program is one of the most desirable in the nation.
This ULL plant needs to shut the frick up and stay out of the football ops business. All of this could have been handled behind closed doors. Yet, he’s insisting on airing out dirty laundry in the most embarrassing way possible.

I could get behind UL. They have a badass name, Ragin’ Cajuns. More original than Tigers.

I’ve been an actual “conservative” for almost as long as Landry’s been potty trailed, and neither politics nor politicians are going to save Louisiana for doing Louisiana. Don’t think that just because we share some common ground here and there that that prevents me from calling out stupid when it’s this stupid. If anything, it’s an embarrassment to be associated with it.
Fact is, politics aside, what Landry did was not only something reserved for back yard barbecues and a couple of sixers under the belt running off at the mouth with your buddies, but it showed he is not a very wise person politically to do what he did in public, and he doesn’t think before he runs his mouth, being fueled by emotions instead of pragmatic leadership.
I know it’s Louisiana, and we should all be numb to this, but somehow it’s still difficult for me to wrap my head around why this is so normalized.

Given all the truth you have mentioned about the legacy of Louisiana, LSU had risen above it. We were gaining so much in academic and athletic prestige. Landry’s immature jealousy just could not stand it. It’s such a shame to see.
