It's amazing that guy who made such horrible hiring decisions for football and men's basketball has so many supporters here.

I love LSU baseball. But when you completely destroy the two money making sports on campus you’re going to get run out of town real quick

I mean LSU should have thought twice about hiring Scotty Woodward when he hired a Jimbo Fisher with a 5-6 record at FSU. Last time I checked that's a losing season,eh?
So officially Woody's record to date is 0-2 and LSU TAF and a generous donor are left with the job of cleaning his mess.
Govenor Landry gave us a hint what was coming down the pipe when he said Woodward would NOT be involved in hiring another coach. Brutal.
So the lesson learned here? LSU needs to hire a coach who can actually coach. All this turmoil could have been avoided if Brian Kelly had only done what he said he would do - at the very least deliver a CFP berth. Not a CFC, just a berth.
It is what it is.

He avg 11 wins a season his last 5 years at ND! How was that a horrible hire? Who had a better record than Kelly tgat lsu could have hired?

Supporters support the national champions he brought us in baseball, womens basketball, and womens gymnastics! Yea, i support him even though he made a lousy hire in football
