They could do worse. If BK could just swallow some pride and not think he is the smartest man in the room he could have more success. Plus, he will have to recruit a lot harder there than at LSu which is a concern.

Absolutely fricking hilarious that this guy is still sought at by SEC schools. His last 2 seasons should tank any sort of confidence that an AD would have in hiring him.

I think part of the deal that knocked the settlement down to $20 million was that it was lump sum and Kelly taking another gig didn’t affect that.

Are you crazy? He took a shite show 38 man roster to the SEC West championship in the SEC championship game while beating Bama you’re insane if you think hes not a good coach. For whatever reason it just didn’t work out, he was a victim of poor coordinator choices, and coach choices. That’s probably what did him in.

Walton’s have decided to start caring. Lots of smoke from a few in the know they spend up to 15 million for a coach if needed. Massive nil package attached. Going to be interesting to see who jumps for a payday.

Yea I was gonna bring it up 2016 here but it didn't matter because he got fired before I could
Kelly did bottom out with ND in 2016 and went 4-8 though and made a ton of changes with how he ran everything and was back in the playoffs with an undefeated season in 2018. There is precedent for Kelly to adjust to failure so it wouldn't be shocking to see him bounce back if he ends up coaching somewhere else again.
