Booster involvement in Coaching Hires

So we have seen deep involvement by the big boosters at UT, that created a revolving door at UT for a long time after Mack Brown left.
I'm worried about that happening here and now you throw in Landry and this could get weird and ugly.
How much involvement did the boosters have with the BK hire?
i know it was a surprise when word got out and it was kept so quiet through all the rumors and stories, BK was never mentioned.
If the boosters were involved how did they keep it so quiet or was it all SW and LSU president?
If they were involved then, do we want them involved now?
If it was all SW hiring BK, maybe we don't want him getting the next one and booster will get involved.

Woody picked up the phone and called Jimmy Sexton to see who might be interested and BK was the biggest name on the list at the time.

Bigger problem at UT was DKR and his influence with the boosters.....who then created problems

Well with Woodward gone, it seems idiot Landry is doing way more than just politicking. Seems to have his hands all in it.

I don’t know why people think Louisiana is the only highly political state. It’s more visible and obvious. Our politicians are more flamboyant. Politics are indeed everywhere and no state is immune to it.
