Not only would we be in the playoff hunt, I bet we'd be undefeated and the top 1-2 seed going in.

Nuss would have not been the quarterback so I say yes.

Offensive line play is bad, but a good coach schemes around that.

If you were calling plays instead of Sloan we might be in the hunt.

I know the offense would have been way more productive and would have given the defense a chance to shutdown opponents.

Why do people do this? Lol. Would Lane be a 1st year coach? 3rd year coach? Who would be the starting QB? Nuss is not a fit for his scheme.

Lane does not do well in road games and especially against Top 25 teams. So probably would have lost to Clemson, Vandy, A&M. Probably win at OM bc who knows who would be the coach at OM. Lose at Bama.

These hypothetical questions are ridiculous. Lane is very different coach than BK. Would Baker be the DC? Would Mansoor Delane and Haulcy be on the team?

My answer to this dumb question is no. He would have same losses.

It is hypothetical, but based on him being a top candidate to coach next year's team, so how is it ridiculous to think if he was hired last year, that we can't guess what the outcome would be?

I'm asking for a vote on people's opinion of where LSU would be with Kiffin.

Having loyalty to 1 player is a disservice to the the other 99.

I'm not so sure about "benched" since apparently the issue with Nuss has been a nagging injury, but he would have at the very least held him out until his injury had healed to the point that it was not affecting his ability to perform.

The fact that BK allowed Nuss to play with an apparent abdominal injury that had such an adverse effect on his ability to perform says much about his [lack of] character. It's patently obvious that BK cared little for his players, the team, or the university who paid him until it was time for a press conference following a loss.

You think 1 yr of Lane Kiffin and LSU would be in the playoffs? He has been at OM for 6 years and this is his best shot at playoffs.

The roster would be completely different than it is now. Let's say he has Austin Simmons as QB and not Trinidad. No Weeks, no Perkins, no Mansoor, or Haulcy. No Pickett or Harlem Berry.

No. The team would not be in playoff contention. Would have at least the same record as now and finish either 7-5 or 8-4.

You think that would be in playoffs?
