He is a sports agent. As a profession, they are seen as part pimp, part con artist, and part lawyer. Landry's comments won't scare him off. If anything, it shows him that he will be dealing with a moron who can be easily manipulated.
Sexton is salivating for these negotiations.

1% lawyer he has his staff do that.
So 49.5% and 49.5% on the first two

Saying he needs to be investigated probably doesn’t help the LsU side in negotiations

Sexton isn’t even BK’s agent either.

I think the biggest hurdle will be not knowing who the actual decision maker on the LSU side is. His comments yesterday made that pretty clear. Like right now, I’d think they’d be talking to agents and seeing where each side stands. Who’s interested and who isn’t. Who’s taken on this role for LSU at this time?

That is one of the main problems. You don't fire someone without a plan in place. You fire the head coach 8 games in to get a head start on the search. We can't begin the search b/c Landry has made it clear we have a lame duck AD. All of this could have been done quietly and behind the scenes. This has been handled so poorly.

Everybody overreacting like crazy.

It's the day of the 24 hour news cycle. This will be forgotten in no time.

We're fine.

He said the “two guys” meaning the two agents that represent almost all of the coaches

Trace Armstrong and Sexton. Armstrong represents BK.

Those two guys make up a huge amount of the bigger HCs

Eh it’ll be the biggest topic on gameday on Saturday.

The general public will forget it by next week. But you know who won’t forget it?

The agents and coaches

Once you land the right clients it's easy to be Jimmy Sexton. You could be Kiffin's, Saban's, Smart's, etc agent. It's like having two bottles of water to sell to 25 extremely thirsty people in the desert. They are so desperate for a drink that they will pay just about any price to get it.

The small group of coaches LSU will want to hire don't NEED the LSU job. The fact that LSU has proven to have meddling politicians and an untrustworthy BOS will play into their decision

Not sure why people give this much credit to Sexton. For the most part he is dealing with dumb arse AD's that are spending other peoples money.

Landry sees himself as a conservative Huey Long. Totally controlling LSU in every way. Wouldn't be surprised if he wants to call plays after the new coach is selected.
