If I’m Woodward I draft a professional letter explaining the funding of how the LSU head coach gets paid and bring attention to the fact that Landry was(probably unknowingly) lying today when he implied the burden on taxpayers. I then say it is my job as per my contract to find a coach and our department has initiated this process with the intention of making a recommendation to the LSU Board of Supervisors

Am I missing something? Does the governor even have a say in what goes on at LSU outside of appointments to BOS? Also, I would expect him to be more concerned with getting decent jobs and companies to bring good jobs to the state rather than worrying about a coaching search!
