frick this a-hole. He’s going to royal frick this up for us and it’s going to set us back for a generation because the idea of the governor meddling is never going to go away.

He voted Trump to fix those NATIONAL issues.
He voted Landry to fix a broken Louisiana. All he/we have gotten is 10 commandments in classrooms, rent a tiger, and running LSU. Nothing on fixing roads and bridges, lowering taxes, etc. Hell he should just name himself LSU President.

He basically neutered the AD in a very public forum.
Whether you like Woodward or not, what Landry did was not appropriate and basically told us the AD is not really the AD.
If they don’t hire a university president fast and replace the AD the fact that politicians are directly involved in the hiring the next coach will turn good candidates away

I live in Texas now but I’m conservative to the core. The governor has no business getting in the middle of the hiring process. He’s gonna run off some good potential candidates. He should stay in his lane.

One day years ago, I got an invitation to something called the Ronald Reagan Man Of The Year Luncheon that was bring organized by the "Republican Party of East Baton Rouge". In it, Woody Jenkins was honoring some stooge but what made me laugh is that they used Ronald Reagan's name... a man who never had a single tie to EBR or really to Louisiana. They just put it on there like it was their own name; just tossing it on there. It was one of the most shameless, pandering jokes I've ever seen a former politician attempt to grift on.
Jeff Landry has one-upped anything I could have felt about that.
The thing is - I know people that know him. And he's a legitimate smart guy. He's an actual bright guy who if he wanted to, could put some decent things together to make a difference. Instead, he's putting the ten commandments in the classroom (which whether you like or not, has already been ruled unconstitutional), he's renting a fake tiger to bring to Bama games, and now he wants to build a Charlie Kirk statue...?
And this is the guy who's going to be in charge of the football hire?!
