The coaching staff is just following language that is certainly written into one of Nuss's NIL agreements. I hope this is the end of us allowing NIL deals to be signed with guaranteed playing time.

In context, he also said that MVB definitely has a role and they’ll be using him. So either we have a 2 qb system (yuck), or maybe MVB will start to absorb more and more snaps until he becomes the new starter by end of season.

Is this real? I ask because I also wondered if him never being benched had anything to do NIL. If so, this is worse then why I quit caring about the NFL. Much worse.
