Really? Nick Bosa wore a Trump hat and I still root for him, and then I'm a lefty. Sometimes, as adults, we have to respect that other people have different views than us.

Steph Curry has an ultra feminist wife, a black dad, a left wing coach in Steve Kerr, and plays in a left wing city. It would be surprising if he wasn't a Democrat. However, by all accounts it seems like Steph Curry is a great human being.
Oftentimes politics doesn't completely define you, your life, and your soul as a human being (unless you let it) and Steph Curry is a prime example of that. I'm about as right wing as can be and I know for a fact that I could go out on the golf course with Steph Curry and have a hell of a time talking about 100 different things. He's a solid dude. He's one of the few people in modern day professional sports that is probably a legitimate role model.

People are crazy these days. So obsessed with other peoples’ political affiliations. I’m neither left or right wing and the last thing I would think about after I met someone is what political party they represent, because I really don’t care. I just want you to be a decent person.

The problem is, folks think you have to align with a certain political affiliation or there is no way you can be a decent person.

IME, if upon meeting someone, their politics seem to be their favored subject they are almost always incredibly boring. IMO someone's politics are invariably the singular most unstimulating thing about them. This is exponentially worse in the last decade because of the purity tests that exist leaving very few people with any nuance on the subject.
