2nd round pick should have been receiver or tight end not wasted pick on old rookie Qb bring in vet Qb like Indy did with Daniel Jones .You need to build team than get your Qb.Doesn’t matter who is Qb now with this roster they loose.

I don’t necessarily disagree that bringing in a qb in a historically qb dead zone part of the draft wasn’t the best use of the pick.
We need high end talent pretty much everywhere. But it is what it is at this point so we may as well see what we have. Although, like Rattler it’ll be hard to determine a ceiling with the weapons we (don’t) have.

The reoccurring question I have from what I see is play design.
Why do we never see our skill players catch a ball in space? Kamara seems to have lost it because he never gets ball in space.
Our receivers never gain YAC.
CKM won a Super Bowl a few months back so I give him the benefit of doubt but c'mon.

KM took the job thinking he had a vet QB (Derek Carr). They didn’t plan on Ratt & Shuck. So they are scrambling and I give him a pass on his QB options.
However the other team sloppiness- penalties, odd play calls, clock management, team being flat…I’m critical. He can do better.
The only way this team can win offensively is to support either young QB with a competent running game. Kamara unfortunately looks like he lost a step. The offensive line is inconsistent. Kendre got hurt and Taysom is not explosive after injury.
Unless Shuck (I know Shough) surprises us and the receivers decide to catch….its gonna be a long finish to the season. All I can hope for is they compete and at least beat the Falcons once.

Play calling hasnt been bad esp when you have no QB
Clock management? Other than everyone wanting him to call TO at the end of the 1st half vs zona, what issues has he had with the clock.

That’s a GM issue.

None, but because they heard that once, they are going to stick with it. He could be perfect the rest of his career, but idiots will always claim he is bad with clock management.

Ah yes, I’m sure if a genius like you was running the team, you definitely would have known Daniel Jones was going to be an elite pickup. Why are you still doing your normal job?? Just go be a GM and make millions, genius!

If Shough just becomes slightly better than Rattler, the pick was worth it.

Moore gets a pass from me.... LOOMIS is the problem.

Dude it’s football for every example you give there is a counter example…. You bring up the colts with Daniel jones to prove your point … but fail to mention the same team also was successful drafting Peyton manning with an awful team and building theteam around him …. The problem with building a team than getting a qb is you have to go through trade or free agency … cause you won’t be picking high anymore
There is no one way to do things … and I have never in my life seen a fan base so worked up around about a second round pick … we took a shot at the important position on the field …. And the crazy thing is he could still work out … he could improve the rest of the season where we don’t even need to draft a qb next year …and if he doesn’t work out we will have a top 3 pick … everyone needs to relax … there more than one way to eat a Reese’s and there is for more than one way to build a winning football team … it’s year one of Kellen .. and we all knew it was a rebuild year

When your team has a massive talent gap with their opponents you’re going to see a lot more penalties.

What’s the rationale on this? If Rattler is bad as most of this board thinks then slightly better than bad is still bad and likely not who you want to be spending high picks on.

Mickey Doomis is money guy never claimed to be perssonel guy left that up to coach those bad trades and Draft picks Payton.Moore made the Qb pick went into season needing go to receiver or tight end made no moves to get one.No Qb can win with this roster.

More new him well playing against in the same division with Dallas and Philly
The point is don’t go into season with 2 rookies Qb needing receivers tight ends now running back.He has 1 more year to get it right or Siriana will be right when he said he will be NO 2 years and be looking for his old job back
