Why can't top NFL guys be poached?

We are talking about paying 10-15 million a year and most of the top HC's make 5-6. I don't follow the NFL but you would think there would be some good coaches that could potentially be swayed if you say we can double your salary and give you a 20 million bonus if you win a championship.

The top nfl head coaches make a lot more than that brother

The NFL life and the CFB life are very different things. Lots of guys just have no desire to mess around in college with recruiting. Imagine you’ve been an NFL guy with a true offseason and you find yourself on some 17 year olds couch sucking up to his family to convince him to play for you in college. Most league guys just aren’t interested.

Mostly because they don't want to deal with recruiting. College coaching is a 365 day job. Pros actually get an off-season.

NFL coaches get to focus on ball. Most have minimal input on personnel.

Once you've worked your way through the NFL coaching ranks and become a head coach, you are nearly guaranteed to fall into another coordinator job, and will probably get another head coaching job at some point. If you leave the system for a head coaching job in college, you are more or less done in the NFL.
Edit:: Unless you are Jim Harbaugh.

NFL is much easier lifestyle.
No recruiting
Your roster is for the most part left up to the front office
Offseason

Where did you get this notion?

Ah, there it is.
The top NFL coaches are pushing up to $20 million these days. Andy Reid is over $20 million, Sean Payton makes $18 million, Mike Tomlin makes $16 million. You don't get into the $5 million range until pretty far down the ranks in the NFL.
All the other factors play in as well. It's the highest level of the game, you have an actual offseason and dead-period, you don't have to recruit or do any of that BS, etc.
End of the day, it's the elite level of the game and a more livable of a lifestyle.

Dude do you know Andy Reid makes 20m per year? And other top coaches are not far behind.

NFL HC’s pick their players in CFB players pick their HCs and school, recruiting isn’t fun or easy in CFB and most NFL coaches don’t want anything to do with it also, NFL has some big salaries and niceties CFB can’t offer

Sean McVay is making 15M a year. Suuurreee he’s going to come to LSU.

There's a reason why college coaches leave for the NFL and not the other way around.

Many of these NFL coaches don't like the college game. Recruiting, NIL, transfer portals, boosters, conference expansion, kids not going to class, etc. Who needs it? NFL franchises are like a Fortune 500 company. The NFL, for those who want to only COACH, is the better situation.
