Friendly reminder emails

Why do people have to send out friendly reminder emails? Happens all the time at work and more times than not by the same person. Bugs the shite out of me. If you have to say “friendly reminder” then it ain’t friendly. Just say what you really mean “hey dumbasses don’t forget about that shite that’s due this week”

LOL…just received one yesterday morning. Their was some online training that was due Friday and I had not completed it yet.

Most recent one for me was for "self-evaluations" that nobody reads and just clicks next so that they can inform their immediate superior about what percentage of people have completed the evaluations and not what was actually discussed in the evaluation.

Sounds like corporate America… and the person sending them out has like 5 other people on their arse about reminding about useless shite like corporate classes, mid-year reviews, goals etc
