Bad Bunny not your style? How about Sting and Chris Stapleton?

Even more money is pouring into concerts surrounding the Super Bowl, which is scheduled to take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on Feb. 8, 2026. Last week, the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium booked country star Chris Stapleton for the night before the game. On Tuesday, the NFL got in on the action, announcing a Sting concert on the Friday of Super Bowl weekend.
According to a news release, the singer-songwriter, whose real name is Gordon Sumner, will headline the league’s Super Bowl concert series, although there’s no information out there about the rest of the series.
Sting, who has won enough Grammy Awards to fill a small bookshelf, is best known as the singer of the Police, the British new-wave act behind “Roxanne,” “Message in a Bottle” and “Can’t Stand Losing You.” Since the Police dissolved in the ’80s, Sting went on decades-long solo career. He’s also an actor; among other film roles, he played himself in “The Bee Movie.”
Sting is set to perform alongside his band members Dominic Miller and Chris Maas.
The Chris Stapleton show is hosted by the Bay Area Host Committee, the local nonprofit that lobbies to bring major sporting events to the region, including next year’s Super Bowl and several upcoming FIFA World Cup games.
Sting’s concert, meanwhile, is organized by the NFL and On Location, the league’s official hospitality provider. Bad Bunny is also set to perform at the official Super Bowl halftime show, despite ire from some conservatives.
Could have also gone on MSB and Music. Always a conundrum with multidomain topics.

I think the last Super Bowl halftime show I watched was the infamous wardrobe malfunction game. Either switch it to the Puppy Bowl or turn it off til kickoff and grab something to eat.

Maybe if singer Sting can pull off a proper Scorpion Death Lock.

Chris Stapleton will be tapping out within a couple minutes.
Still better than Bad Bunny.

I'll be 100% honest, I never really look forward to halftime shows. I truly don't give a shite who is performing. I like some of Sting's music and I like some of Stapleton's music, but I don't give a shite about this. I am rarely around the TV during half time. So they could have Bad Tadpole performing.. As in an actual tadpole that is bad.. And I wouldn't care..
