I don’t understand how so many of y’all keep saying this. Do you really think it’s the same thing? He was 20 years younger, hadn’t solidified his legacy yet, and wasn’t living the dream life fully retired.

Just stop. It’s nowhere near the same thing.

Saban has an office at Bama athletic dept. He will never leave that post or his lake house. Gameday keeps him busy. Dude will be 73 soon...he isnt coming.

Saban will be 95 one day and mfers gonna still wonder if he coming

Id say the College game has passed him. It happens to the best of them. Saban was smart enough to see it coming and get out on top.

This is not 1985 where an AD job was a "kick upstairs"

Solid rebuttal.

It’s still not the same thing.

I wish these dumb Saban threads would get whacked.

You people sound like women still crying about being dumped 20 years ago. Clingers.

He doesn’t know squat about baseball. That’s why. I’ve preferred LSU baseball over football for 25 years,…….so no.

Don’t be surprised if they are talking to him about helping with the hire and a more permanent role beyond that.

Saban should be easy. Just tell him, "You can come here, run the program, have complete control, and never, ever have to sit next to and be talked to by that fricking arse jerk ex-punter on College Gameday ever again."

He'll be like:

"Where do I sign?"

How are there so many legit Tards on this board? Were that many of you born with the umbilical cord wrapped around your neck at birth? I would have thought that was quite rare. Proved me wrong.
