The rant wants Lane Kiffin

Shouldn't that be enough to convince yall that it's a bad hire? The rant also wanted Lincoln Riley (they're kinda similar actually). Hope LSU doesn't just try to win the press conference and go with the lazy hire. Lane will put us in purgatory winning enough to keep his job and make the playoffs every few years but never able to win the big games. He will also be the most expensive coach this cycle and we're better off spending that money on a roster

Don't know yet. But I think that Lane has proven he doesn't have what it takes to get us where we want. I'd rather take a chance on someone else. It's easy to just go throw a bunch of money at the hottest name and win the press conference, but the AD gets paid to dig deeper. They need to do extensive research and interviews and conduct a thorough search. Dan Lanning/Mike Elko/Marcus Freeman weren't even mentioned last time bc we just went for the obvious big names. A thorough search was not conducted and other schools found the better hires. LSU found Nick Saban before. It's not easy but that's what the AD gets paid to do.

What has Dan Lanning won? What has Gruden won in college?
And Saban is old and retired because he didn't want to work in the new era of NIL, why would we want that?
