Apparently they had already removed his fingerprint from access to unlock the doors Sunday morning. Makes me think that he was gone no matter what decision he made with the coaches.

Edit
Seems like some people in here are confused. This was done prior to his conversation with Woodward about firing coaches.

quote:

When Brian Kelly arrived at LSU football facility Sunday morning, he couldn't get in. His fingerprint didn't work. It felt like a weird omen but still a glitch. By the time of the day, it was real. Kelly was out.

I'm glad the powers that be were so decisive in kicking him to the curb.

Nah, if my job paid me 20M not to come back, I'd feel great.

It's actually kind of impressive.

That is pretty standard protocol and one of the first things done when someone is terminated.

Makes you wonder if talks started right after the game and thats the reason the post game press conference was 45 minutes late

Yeah it does and I dont like anyone feeling that way.

But I had a sick feeling watching AnM absolutely dominate LSU in every metric/phase of the game. They literally beat the shite out of a soft, undisciplined, poorly coached football team.

Time to go and I'm sure he is not that surprised it happened. He watched the same thing I did.

Exactly. Try about 70% what you had to your entire career. Dont really answer much questions cause you cant really speak to the details, just we need to coach em better. And then piss off to the tune of 20+mm to play golf and buy a small island

It’s looking like the 20M was inaccurate. They’re still negotiating.

There was a small group that mobilized before the season expecting a loss at Clemson.

So this didnt just start.

I cant believe they deactivated after I was gone.

Losers.

it would be one thing if you were being rewarded for excellent performance, unless Kelly deep down really is the miserable, soulless, POS he appears to be it's got to do a psych number on you that you've worked all of these years, never got the brass ring, and the last best shot you had at it you failed so miserably that you are being paid millions to just go away, I hope it gives him an ulcer

If that is true, it is low class on LSU's part.

Are you confused? He had not been terminated at that point. This was before he had the convo about firing coaches with Woodward
